Music helps and so does a television in front of the treadmill. As for workout songs, any music you like that is upbeat would help you keep running.

My dad runs with the TV on, that always seems to work for him.

Put a towel or something over the clock if it really bothers you. Whatever music you like is good workout music.

put a magazine or something over the time count on the treadmill, you will not be thinking as much of how long you have to be on a treadmill, and you will get a better workout.
i would say you can put some techno music on your ipod, or something with a good beat

i really love music. i listen to weezer while lifting and while cardio i have a mess of songs that just make me MOVE and want to dance. here… Gifted – N.A.S.A., genesis – justice, etc etc. and when i’m done i have a bunch of endorphins and feel good hormones so i pump so cold – belly and feel like a badass while i walk away.

I normally listen to a really good piece of music whilst jogging to the beat.
Also watcing a TV above you can really help however many people do complain of neck strain.
If keep looking at the clock is getting on your nerves then if it is a wall clock then take it down or if it is on the treadmill then you can put something over it to cover it up like tape or a towel.

Hope that this helps!!

Music, tv, and magazines are helpful.
