45 will be enough, but be sure to take no breaks and run at medium level (just a little over a jog), also doing sprints helps a lot
it will take time to mold your body to where you want it, or to where you accept it. you have to get your heart rate up runninng/biking/swimming hard for atleast 30 mins. any less then that and you arent doing much more than burning immediate energy stores, not the fat that you want to get rid of.
