exercise equipment
Soris asked:

I’ve been working out for over a year, and I’d rather not lose all of my upper-body strength and six-pack. I can use any equipment that could be kept in my dorm-room, such as a single set of free-weights, but other than this equipment, the exercises have to be things I can do without any weight machines or assistance.

Ariana S asked:

I’m looking for a good piece of exercise equipment to tone the mid-lower body. The areas I want to work on are the stomach, butt, hips, and thighs.

Just curious as to what would be good for this and what your favorite type of equipment is and why.

Thanks

I want to buy a good piece of exercise equipment. One that doesn’t take up a whole lot of space, and one that gives me a total body workout. Any suggestions?

My boyfriend and I saw a piece of exercise equipment on tv and neither of us can remember the name of it. It basically looks like a long pole. You hold each end with one hand and push toward the center of the pole. There is a spring in the equipment. What it amounts to is it is supposed to lift, separate, and increase the size of your boobs by building up muscle behind it. I’m not asking for exercise tips or even asking if it works. Just the name please!!

I’m 47, female, and need to lose about 60 pounds. I prefer working out indoors, as I’m prone to joint inflammation flare-ups. I have space for only one medium to large-sized piece of exercise equipment. What would be best considering that (genetically) I already have a fairly high muscle to fat ratio, my weight is almost totally between my gut and my knees, and I’d like to retain as much of my small bustline as possible?
